Founder & Managing Director
With over 28 years of Himalayan mountaineering experience, Dipendra founded IATE in 1996 to share Nepal’s breathtaking landscapes with the world. A licensed trekking guide himself, he has summited multiple high-altitude peaks and remains personally involved in every expedition’s planning.

Our operations team ensures every permit, accommodation booking, and logistics detail is handled before your boots hit the trail. They are your first point of contact from inquiry to departure, available 7 days a week.
Our Expert Guides
All IATE guides are government-licensed, wilderness first-aid certified, and fluent in English. They bring years of high-altitude experience on Nepal’s most iconic routes.
🏔️ Senior Trek Leaders
Our senior guides have each led 100+ expeditions on routes including Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, Langtang Valley, and Manaslu Circuit. They know every teahouse, every altitude-sensitive section, and every hidden viewpoint.
🧗 Expedition Climbers
For island peak climbs, Mera Peak, and high-altitude expeditions, our specialist climbing guides hold Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) certifications and carry full rope and rescue equipment.

Our trusted porters are local Nepali men and women from mountain communities. We provide them with proper gear, insurance, and fair wages — because ethical treatment of our crew is non-negotiable.
