Overview
The Everest Three Passes Trek is the most complete route through the Khumbu region, covering every major valley and viewpoint the area has to offer while crossing three passes above 5,300 meters. Over 21 days, you’ll walk to the turquoise Gokyo Lakes, climb Gokyo Ri for what many consider the best panoramic Everest view in Nepal, cross the Cho La on crampons, stand at Everest Base Camp, watch sunrise from Kala Patthar, and close the loop over the remote Kongma La.
This is a demanding, committing trek. It calls for solid physical fitness, some prior experience at altitude, and a background in multi-day trekking — the terrain and elevation gain leave little room for starting from scratch. Our guides carry supplemental oxygen for emergencies, and every group receives a daily medical briefing to catch altitude issues early, before they become serious.
