Our Standards
Our treks are managed by professionally trained Sirdars, cooks & Sherpas committed to providing a safe and enjoyable trekking holiday. All our guides are certified by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) to work in the most remote corners of Nepal.
All our camping treks are outfitted with the highest-quality equipment available — comfortable two-man waterproof tents, sleeping bags, thermal rest self-inflating mattresses, foam dining tents with camp chairs & tables, and toilet tents.
We use kerosene or LPG as an alternative to wood on all camping treks — no campfires, no deforestation. We strongly discourage wood-fuelled hot showers in lodges and train our staff in correct waste disposal along every trail.
Meals are prepared by cooks well-trained in modern cooking hygiene. Boiled drinking water is served every morning and evening on the trail to ensure our clients stay healthy and hydrated at altitude.
All trek guides and cooks employed by us are protected by general insurance coverage, provided with warm clothing and proper shelter on high-altitude treks. Our treks are designed to benefit local village economies through local services.
