Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek

240 Days

Poon Hill Trek is relatively easy one which winds us up through beautiful settlement and most of all this trek brings us close to the mountains. The trek showcase some of the best views of Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Machapuchre. Basics yet clean tea houses gives us the gestures of the passion of the area into hospitality. The rhododendron forest and those breath taking views on the way adds up stamina, rice terraces that looks like an art of a skilled artist, upon reaching Poonhill, one can feel that this is the place that a professional photographer should be at least once in their life time. Our walk begins from Nayapul then we trek to Tirkhedhunga, along side we cross villages that are beautifully decorated in typical Nepali style. Now a days, access of motor able road has decreased the dependency on Mule to carry food supply, even then we can still witnessed the mulls that are being chased by their masters to supply the daily necessary items that is needed to sustain life in the high mountains. This trek also brings us close to the people and the different culture than we see in the other part of Nepal.
