Overview
Pokhara is Nepal’s adventure capital and most scenic city — a lakeside resort town at 820m with the full Annapurna massif (including the dramatic Machapuchhare/”Fishtail Peak”) rising as an impossibly close backdrop. The city has a distinctive, relaxed character: café culture, lakeside restaurants, paragliding companies, and the world’s largest concentration of trekking support services — all wrapped around the placid turquoise Phewa Lake.
This 3-day tour gives you Pokhara’s finest experiences: the Sarangkot sunrise (the best non-trek Himalayan sunrise viewpoint in Nepal), a boat ride on Phewa Lake to the Tal Barahi temple island, the International Mountain Museum (the world’s finest mountaineering museum), and the spectacular Devi’s Falls and Gupteshwar Cave.
