Overview
Lobuche East (6,119m) is a trekking peak that demands real mountaineering skills — more so than Island Peak. The summit ridge is exposed and narrow, requiring confident movement on mixed snow and rock. The reward is extraordinary: you stand on a razor-edge above the Khumbu Glacier with Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Pumori towering around you. This 20-day programme includes full EBC trek acclimatisation plus 3 days of technical training at base camp. Prior ice/snow experience (mountaineering courses or winter hiking) is strongly recommended.
