Situated in the Mapya Dudhkoshi rural municipality in lower Solukhumbhu, this trail promises an enriching cultural and mountainous experience.
Renowned for its Sherpa, Tamang, and Rai cultural influences, the Everest Dudhkoshi Cultural Trail provides stunning views of more than 14 majestic mountains, including the towering Everest at 8848.86m, Batang at 5077m, Choyam at 4713m, Bigfera at 6600m, Numburchuli at 6960m, Karlung at 6511m, Kongderi at 6187m, Khungwakang at 7743m, Gyanchonkang at 7952m, Chumbu at 6859m, Kangteka at 6783m, Kyasar at 6769m, Mera Peak at 6476m, Naulekh at 6363m, Pangbo at 6390m, and more.
Throughout this trek, you’ll encounter over 14 varieties of Rhododendron and a plethora of bird species. Day 02: Rest day in Kathmandu. Night in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Silgudi Danda (3020 m.).7/8 hrs.Overnight at lodge.
Day 04: Silgudi Danda trek to Gumnemera/Chyangmiten Gomba.3/4 hrs. Overnight at Gomba.
Day 05: Gumnemera trek Yotolme.3/4 hrs. overnight at home.
Day 06: Yotolme trek to Thul Dunga.3/4 hrs.Overnight at home stay.
Day 07: Thul Dunga trek to Silgudi.3/4 hrs. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 08: Silgudi Drive to Kathmandu. Overnight in hotel.
