Tsum Valley
Tucked away in northern Gorkha, Tsum Valley remains one of Nepal’s least-visited trekking regions, opened to outsiders only in recent years. The trek follows the Budhi Gandaki river through rhododendron forests and traditional villages before entering a valley shaped by Tibetan Buddhist culture, sacred monasteries, and views of Ganesh Himal and Shringi Himal. Highlights include Mu Gompa, Milarepa’s meditation cave, and Rachen Gompa, set against a backdrop of glacier-fed rivers and quiet, untouched landscape.
